“ Nederlands own Salto Coffee, where you see the owner running the roaster as you walk in! Excellent Coffee and atmosphere. Beautiful building with outdoor gas fireplace and table seating. Friendly locals dine and work on laptops here. Comprehensive Bike shop next door. Street is one way from downtown. ”

We decided to grab a quick bite at Salto Cafe. Having already indulged in coffee earlier that morning, we opted for salads and a side of sourdough toast with butter. I ordered the Greek Salad with grilled chicken, and it met my expectations. The portion size was just right for me. On the other hand, my husband chose the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. While he liked the flavor, it left him wanting more, and he wasn’t too keen on the texture and consistency of the dressing.
